General Terms and Conditions
Effective from: 1 January 2025
1. General Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) govern the terms of the sales contract concluded between OJI Home Studio (hereinafter: Seller) and any natural or legal person making a purchase through the webshop (hereinafter: Customer).
By completing the order, the Customer accepts the provisions of these GTC.

2. Order Process
Browsing and purchasing from the webshop is possible without registration. By placing an order, the Customer makes a binding offer to purchase the selected product(s).
2.1 Formation of Contract
The contract is formed upon the Seller sending a confirmation email. The Seller reserves the right to decline an order in justified cases – for example, if a product is out of stock – in which case the Customer will be notified promptly and any payment made will be refunded in full.
2.2 Steps of the Order Process
- Adding product(s) to the cart
- Entering delivery and billing details
- Selecting delivery method and payment method
- Reviewing the order summary
- Completing the order ("Place Order" button)
- Receiving an automatic confirmation email
3. Prices and Payment
Product prices shown in the webshop are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are displayed in Hungarian Forints (HUF) and/or Euros (EUR).
3.1 Accepted Payment Methods

- PayPal
- Other methods listed on the checkout page
Payment is due at the time of placing the order. The Seller is obliged to issue an invoice where required by applicable law.
4. Shipping
4.1 Shipping Destinations and Fees
The Seller ships to all addresses within Hungary and to all European Union member states. Current shipping fees are displayed on the checkout page.
4.2 Delivery Times
Orders are typically fulfilled within 5–14 business days from the date of payment confirmation. During busy or holiday periods, fulfilment times may be longer. The Seller will notify the Customer by email of any significant delays.
4.3 Receiving Your Package
The Customer is responsible for checking the condition of the parcel upon delivery. If visible damage is present, the Customer is entitled to refuse the package and must notify the Seller immediately.
5. Right of Withdrawal
Customers who qualify as consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
5.1 How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
The intention to withdraw must be communicated in writing to studio@ojihomestudio.com, or by using the following withdrawal notice template:
“I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the purchase of the following product(s): [product name], order number: [number], order date: [date], date of receipt: [date].”
5.2 Consequences of Withdrawal
- The Customer must return the goods within 14 days of communicating the withdrawal.
- The cost of returning the goods is borne by the Customer, unless the Seller states otherwise.
- The Seller will refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the original payment method.
- Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.
5.3 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the Customer's specific requirements or clearly personalised (e.g. custom-sized or bespoke textiles).
6. Warranty and Statutory Guarantee
6.1 Statutory Warranty
In the event of defective performance by the Seller, the Customer may enforce warranty claims in accordance with applicable Hungarian and EU consumer protection law. The Customer may request repair, replacement, a price reduction, or – as a last resort – may withdraw from the contract.
6.2 Making a Warranty Claim
Warranty claims must be reported promptly upon discovery of the defect, and no later than 2 months after the defect is identified. For claims made within 2 years of delivery, it is presumed – for the first 12 months – that the defect existed at the time of delivery.
7. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Complaints can be submitted to studio@ojihomestudio.com. The Seller will investigate and respond in writing within 30 days.
If the parties cannot reach an agreement, the Customer may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. For EU consumers, disputes may be submitted via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

8. Data Protection
Full details of how personal data is handled can be found in the Privacy Policy on our website. By placing an order, the Customer consents to the Seller processing their personal data to the extent necessary to fulfil the order.
All data processing is carried out in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian data protection legislation.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the website – including illustrations, patterns, texts, photographs, and the brand name – is the intellectual property of the Seller and is protected by copyright. Reproduction, copying, or distribution in any form without the Seller's prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Seller accepts no liability for damages resulting from incorrect information provided by the Customer, internet connectivity issues, or circumstances within the Customer's own sphere of risk. While product photography is produced as accurately as possible, the Seller cannot be held responsible for colour variations caused by differences in screen calibration.
11. Miscellaneous and Final Provisions
These GTC are governed by Hungarian law. For disputes involving consumers, the competent Hungarian courts shall have jurisdiction.
The Seller reserves the right to amend these GTC. Any amendments take effect upon publication on the website and apply only to orders placed thereafter.
Matters not governed by these GTC are subject to applicable Hungarian and EU legislation, including but not limited to: the Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013), Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on consumer contracts, and Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce.
